WILL SMITH'S READY TO TAKE THE 4TH OF JULY
HANCOCK opens on July 2nd

There are heroes... there are superheroes... and then there's Hancock (Will Smith). With great power comes great responsibility – everyone knows that – everyone, that is, but Hancock. Edgy, conflicted, sarcastic, and misunderstood, Hancock's well-intentioned heroics might get the job done and save countless lives, but always seem to leave jaw-dropping damage in their wake. The public has finally had enough – as grateful as they are to have their local hero, the good citizens of Los Angeles are wondering what they ever did to deserve this guy. Hancock isn't the kind of man who cares what other people think – until the day that he saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman), and the sardonic superhero begins to realize that he may have a vulnerable side after all. Facing that will be Hancock's greatest challenge yet – and a task that may prove impossible as Ray's wife, Mary (Charlize Theron), insists that he's a lost cause.Cast includes Will Smith, Charlize Theron, and Jason Bateman.

Reviews

Latest Review Additions:

Hancock Review

Smith's invincibilty at the box office may come down, for this film is a mess. Not even his charm and personality can save this train wreck.

Wanted Review

Wanted' is an action oriented film that gives the audience what they want and then some.

Trumbo Review

A on overdue vindication of a true patriot and a timely reminder to continue challenging authority in the face of the Patriot Act.

Sex and Death 101 DVD Review

A female empowerment fantasy where a latter-day Casanova meets his match in the reincarnation of Lorena Bobbitt.

Get Smart Review

For some unfathomable reason, director Peter Segal opted to overhaul a relentlessly-hilarious, over-the-top parody never intended to be taken seriously into a dramatic adventure with only intermittent comic relief.

The Love Guru Review

It’s Mike Myers job to make you laugh, and he fails miserably in what might not be the best performance of his career, but it’s certainly his worst.

DVD REVIEW | Be Kind, Rewind(in Film)

Be Kind, Rewind fails to measure up to expectations. The poorly-executed recreations of familiar scenes from hit films simply fall flat

Brick Lane(in Film)

The movie is likely to resonate best with closet feminists inclined to question the constraints of orthodox Islam.

The Happening(in Film)

The Happening is beset by a number of glaring flaws. First, the acting is atrocious
