The BLACKFILM.COM MIDNIGHT SCREENING SERIES
is a monthly, late-night series of independent films, discussion, and
networking. Originating in New York City at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade
Theater, this selective series now takes place at the Museum of Contemporary
Art in Chicago, Director's Guild of America in Los Angeles, the Museum
of African American History in Detroit, the Rialto Center for the Performing
Arts in Atlanta, and at the National Women's Museum in Washington, DC.
The ultimate goal of this program is to build audience awareness and
funding opportunities for today's most notable independent filmmakers.
