Synopsis: "Confessionsofa..." is a tale of adventure, but first and foremost, it is a love story, a funky picaresque comedy filled with wily ruminations of our pilgrim alternating with epic action-bites as the hero stumbles through life. The film is an oxymoron of emotions -- boisterous, joyous and sublimely tender at one moment, then hilarious and street-wise the next. This is the latest film for Mr. Van Peebles (as director, writer and composer) since the release of "Le Conte du ventre plein" (also known as "Bellyful") in 2000.
