"The Salon," which stars Terrence Howard and Vivica A. Fox, is an underdog comedy that reveals what women really talk about behind closed doors. Mark Brown, creator of "Barbershop," wrote, directed and produced. In "Dirty Laundry," Rockmond Dunbar ("Prison Break") plays a gay, big-city magazine writer who seems to have a perfect life -- until a visitor brings him back to the traditional Southern family he hasn't seen in 10 years. Maurice Jamal wrote and directed the pic. "Constellation" stars Gabrielle Union ("Bring It On," "Bad Boys 2") as a deceased family matriarch who reaches out from the beyond to help her younger brother put tragedy behind him and connect with one of his daughters. Jordan Walker Pearlman wrote, directed and produced. Anthony Lover penned and helmed "My Brother," starring Vanessa L. Williams. Drama concerns two brothers and the mother who sacrificed everything for them. In "Premium," Dorian Missick ("Lucky Number Slevin") stars as Reginald "Cool" Coolidge, a struggling actor who collides with his ex-fiancee after three years apart. Pete Chatmon wrote and directed. Earlier this year Codeblack nationally distribbed the pics "Shadowboxer" (the directing debut of Lee Daniels, who produced "Monster's Ball" and "The Woodsman"), "Steve Harvey's Don't Trip...He Ain't Through With Me Yet" and "Preaching to the Choir."
