Cassavette to direct Washington in "Steinbeck's Point of View".
 
While in NYC promoting his latest film, The Chronicles of Narnia, Producer Mark Johnson mentioned to blackfilm.com that his next film will star Denzel Washington.
 
Mark Johnson: I have a movie called "Steinbeck's Point of View" that Denzel Washington is going to do with Nick Cassavettes directing. It's a spiritual redemption story about a lost guy who finds his way. New Line will distribute the film. Cassavettes had previously directed Washington in "John Q."
