Underwood to star in Tyler Perry's next film

On the heels of his hit film, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, writer-director Tyler Perry has added actor Blair Underwood for his next film, Madea's Family Reunion, which will start shooting in July. The film, which is based on Perry's play, centers a round a pistol happy granny named Madea (Tyer Perry). Her family gets together for a funeral, a family reunion and a wedding on the same weekend. Underwood, who's currently shooting "42.4 Percent" with Sanaa Lathan, can be heard in the animated film, Golden Blaze, which is playing in select theaters nationwide.
