"What Did You Really Think….The Real Deal" - American Music Awards

The American Music Awards definitely made headlines. There were a variety of different styles presented throughout the evening. From Yolanda Adams soulful melody to Alicia Keys snagging two major awards for her innovative fresh sound. The night was filled with definite excitement.

Let's begin with P.Diddy and Jenny McCarthy. Both should get some lessons in public decorum. I personally thought P. Diddy's behavior was a little inappropriate and offensive. Jenny McCarthy asked him what she should call him now, P. Diddy or Puff Daddy, his exact response was "call me what you did last night". Even the audience didn't find that very funny. His opening performance set the tone for the rest of the night. Which to sum up in a word was untactful.

Hey Usher, we are well aware that you have a six pack feel free to leave your shirt on.

Enough attention wasn't really paid to the death of Aaliyah. They gave her one award and Genuwine had to practically shout at the audience to stand up and give her a standing ovation.

I thought it was a little funny how after Brittany Spears sang her song Justin Timberlake was the only one to stand up.

Hey Janet Jackson, could you please cut the innocent act out. What was with the fake surprised look when you got an award. They had you on satellite from Japan so they had to give you something.

I have to applaud Beyonce Knowles of Destiny's Child for letting Kelly and Michelle finally speak on their own. For once she wasn't in the middle cutting everyone off. Keep up the good work Beyonce, maybe someday you'll realize it's not just your group.

On a final note this is a little message to the producers of the AMA's. Try to go for tact and class next year. I guess that means P.Diddy and Jenny McCarthy won't be hosting anymore.
