Next Friday, March 22, at The Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles, Martell Cognac presents "All About You" at the blackfilm.com midnight screening series. Christine Swanson (writer-director) and husband, Michael Swanson (producer), have created a captivating film. The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2002 Hollywood Black Film Festival, the Choice - Best Domestic Film at the 37th Chicago International Film Festival and the Festival Award at the 2002 Pan African Film Festival. Looking at the trailer for this film, it’s fairly easy to assume “another buddy cop movie”. Your assumption would be correct. How many times have we seen this formula before and hasn’t Eddie Murphy done this before (48 Hours)?
