Sequel Synergy… The month of August appears to be the month of super-sequels. Last weekend, "Rush Hour 2" blasted the competition by grossing more than $66 Million at domestic cash-boxes. This weekend, "American Pie 2" returns with the same gang and "the buzz" is that the flick is funny. Congratulations to the folks at Zide Perry - we know you have a hit. This week Kellye Whitney returns with a quick hit on the fashion statements from "Rush Hour 2" and ape-style from "Planet of The Apes." Los Angeles wonder-girl Daos Boonma says Pete Yorn has a sound that you should definitely feel, and music-mind Midas says the "Baby Boy" soundtrack while it still has a little buzz, is a missed opportunity.
